History and overview of Southern Helpers:

Southern Helpers is a licensed, insured, bonded, non-medical in-home care agency inspired to serve the world. It currently serves multiple counties in Georgia and South Carolina.  In 2015, Brian and Kimberly Smith, two veterans, seeking an opportunity to impact the lives of the growing population of seniors in the community founded and opened Southern Helpers. This husband and wife team both grew up in southern Georgia. Both Brian and Kimberly served in the United States Army, which afforded them an opportunity to travel the world while raising three beautiful children. A combination of many things, including their faith, has helped to ignite the passion and zeal that Brian and Kimberly have for being a change agent in the senior community. Southern Helpers is more than just a non-medical care agency. It is an agency that families can rely on and trust. The goal of Southern Helpers is to create a safe, stable and innovative environment that will stimulate the minds of the aging population.
